spot's place

where dogs and community come together

welcome to spot's place

at spot’s place, we’re more than just a daycare—we’re a trusted home-away-from-home for your dog. our mission is simple: to provide a safe, enriching, and joy-filled environment where every dog is treated like family. with experienced staff, structured play, and a commitment to canine well-being, we stand for quality care, positive experiences, and a whole lot of tail wags.

transparency, trust and communication

we do dog care differently—because your pup deserves the best. at spot’s place, every playgroup is led by certified pack leaders trained in canine behavior and group management. our fully open-play environment means dogs are free to socialize, explore, and learn in a safe and supervised setting.

our facility features rubberized flooring for joint protection, HVAC systems that bring in continuous fresh air to our fully indoor, climate controlled playrooms.

what truly sets us apart—live webcams in every playroom. our webcams offer unmatched transparency, so you can check in on your pup anytime, from anywhere. no guessing, no secrets—just peace of mind that your dog is happy, safe, and having a great day.

our meet & greet process: safety starts with the right fit

at spot’s place, every dog’s journey begins with a thorough meet & greet—a one-on-one assessment designed to ensure your pup is set up for success in our open-play environment.

our certified team takes the time to get to know each dog individually, assessing their comfort level, social skills, and play style. we introduce them gradually to different sights, people, and dogs at a pace that suits their personality. this process allows us to evaluate how they respond to new situations and helps us determine the best playgroup fit for their energy level and temperament.

our goal is simple: to build a safe, stress-free space where dogs thrive. by ensuring each new guest is a good match for open play, we protect the well-being of every dog in our care—because a safe pack is a happy pack.

do you offer half days?

yes, we do offer half days but only for drop-in pups!

AM half day → 6:30am - 12:30pm

PM half day → 12:30pm - 6:30pm

while half days are available, we always encourage full days when possible, it gives your pup more time to settle in, make friends, and get the full benefits of their daycare experience! 🐾

can i watch my dog at daycare?

absolutely! 📱 tune in through our app monday to friday and see your pup playing, snoozing, or making new friends.

we believe in full transparency, and that includes letting you see how your pup is doing in real time.

we use idog cameras, which are available for any daycare/boarding facility, and connect through the gingr app!

how do you handle negative behaviors?

we use redirection and positive reinforcement, no harsh tools or punishments. we believe dogs learn best through trust, not fear.

and if anything happens, we’ll let you know. no sugarcoating, just honest, open communication.

do you have staff 24 hours a day?

we do not, and that’s by design. our dogs sleep better without overnight noise or distractions. we monitor the space 24/7 with video, temperature, and motion sensors so they’re safe and sound while they rest.

staff leave at 9pm, and are back at 5:30am the next day.

does my dog need to be a client to board with you?

no, your dog does not need to be a daycare client to board, however our pack members do get priority booking.

all new dogs must complete a meet & greet prior to any overnight stays to ensure their comfort/safety in this environment.

does my dog need to be a daycare client to get groomed?

no they do not, we accept any dogs for grooming services!

we have 2 groomers on our team, happy to help you monday-friday!

check out their work on our grooming page, @spotsplacegrooming

what are your daycare/boarding requirements?

to keep our pack safe and happy, we require all dogs to be up-to-date on vaccinations: distemper and rabies are mandatory, and bordetella is strongly encouraged to help prevent kennel cough.

all dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age.

if you're planning to board with us, we strongly recommend scheduling a few daycare days beforehand to help your pup feel comfortable and confident during their stay.

what does a meet and greet entail?

our meet & greet isn’t just a quick hello, it’s a full, thoughtful process designed to make sure your pup is safe, comfortable, and ready for daycare.

we start with a crate test and a touch test/wellness check, followed by slow, supervised introductions to other dogs and a gradual entry into playtime.

we also give you a full tour of the entire facility, no guessing games. we want you to see exactly where your dog will be playing, resting, and spending their day.

transparency matters to us, and we believe you should always know what your dog’s experience looks like. that level of care and openness is something you won’t find everywhere.
